Cars to Look For.................

The 2011 Citroen Tubik Concept is a concept car that was created for the purpose of making travelling on the road as pleasurable as possible. It is geared towards making the driving dynamics of a car as fun and meaningful as possible. When taking a look at how the Tubik Concept car looks, it seems like a very stylish and chic automobile. Clearly with this much sophistication in one automobile, it is quite clear cut how much French influence has rubbed off on it. Some claim that this design is a modern take on a classic.undefined

Stylish

Upon taking a closer look on the aesthetics of the car, the asymmetrical entry points for passengers are quite astounding. The interiors and the lighting within the car are also equally impeccable. One thing sticks out with the design which is the lack of windows that for some is quite alarming since people are used to having windows on their vehicle doors. There have been some speculations with regards to the concept of no windows. Some claim that the driver would be able to view the exterior through cameras and screens installed within the vehicle.

When inspecting the car including its interior, it is without a doubt a concept car for the future. With all the futuristic designs incorporated into the vehicle, it surely has raised a lot of queries. As of now, no specific details have been released with regards to this concept car. But one thing is definitely certain: the 2011 Citroen Tubik Concept is definitely something to wait for.

The 2013 Corvette 427 collector edition will be available with the 60th anniversary package, which includes Arctic white exteriors with optional pearl blue racing stripes. The interior would be wrapped in Blue Diamond leather with suede accents. The car gets Corvette ZR1 style Michelin PS2 tires, 19-inch alloys in the front and 20-inch at the rear.

The 427 has been designed to have an improved power to weight ratio and several light-weight body components have been used in the construction, like Carbon fiber floor panels, carbon fiber raised hood, carbon fiber fenders and front splitter.

Performance

The Corvette 427 convertible has been fitted with a 427 cubic-inch engine (7 liters) which churns out 505 horsepower and 470 lb ft of torque. The engine has been derived from the Corvette Z06. It's the most potent engine to be installed on a Corvette. The engine has been matched to a 6-speed manual transmission and there is no option of automatic transmission.

This Corvette 427 is being designed for performance. With great emphasis given to the power to weight ratio, the car churns out staggering performance figures.

It goes from 0-60 in 3.8 seconds and runs a quarter mile in 11.8 seconds. The convertible has maximum speed of more than 190mph. However, with this kind of performance, the car is not very fuel efficient.

Chevrolet has not decided on the number of Corvette 427s they will build, and the production numbers would likely depend on the demand of the vehicle. The company has not yet released the price of the vehicle.

The exelero, commissioned by the tyre company Fulda is a chopped-down two-seater coupe. Though it is much more than just a show car. During the tests at the Nardo high-speed oval, the model reached the top speed of 218.38 miles per hour even though it weighed around 2.6 tonnes. It can accelerate from 0 to 60 miles per hour in just 4.4 seconds. The design of the car is the result of the competition among the students at the Pforzheim Polytechnic Department of Transport Design which has designed the show vehicles for Fulda during the past. The designing of the 24 year old Fredrik Burchhard was selected and the entire work was coordinated with Mayback design centre in Sindelfingen. Basing on the Maybach 57 limousine the project required a certain amount of re-engineering: the A-pillar and the doors were to be shifted backwards and the steering column, the pedals and the gearshift had to be relocated altogether. The benchmark 550- bhp v12 engine was prepared for 5.9 litres and tuned for 700 bhp with over 738 lb ft of torque. The final dimensions which were 5890mm long, 2140mm wide and just 1390 mm high the car was packed with a full-spec interior that included leather, neoprene, aluminium and the carnbonfibre finishes. Rapper  Bryan “Birdman” Williams, reportedly spent $8,000,000 on the one-off Maybach Exelero coupe. The rapper has a net worth of $125 million.
